Spotwork is seeking an organized and reliable Warehouse Dock Worker in Columbus, OH. In this role, you will be essential to receiving, staging, and shipping less-than-truckload (LTL) freight and parcels. Responsibilities

• Unload incoming trailers, verifying freight and parcel counts against shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
• Inspect all shipments for damage, shortages, or mislabels, reporting any issues immediately.
• Sort, label, scan, and stage pallets and parcels according to customer, destination, and delivery date.
• Securely build and wrap pallets to prevent damage or misloads during transit.
• Load outbound trailers based on dispatch instructions, weight distribution guidelines, and safe handling practices.
• Maintain a clean and clear work area while adhering to safety rules, including trailer restraint procedures and equipment policies.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a warehouse, transportation, LTL, parcel sort, or shipping environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to read shipping documents, use handheld scanners, and maintain accurate inventory counts.
• Willingness to complete required forklift training and pass a practical evaluation to receive company operating authorization.
• Dependable attendance and the ability to consistently work your scheduled hours from Monday through Friday, 6AM to 2PM.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling in an active dock environment with varying temperatures.
• Capability to independently or collaboratively lift and handle freight weighing 20 to 50 pounds.
