Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to carefully move materials, pallets, and boxes throughout the facility.
• Load and unload arriving and departing trucks to ensure efficient delivery schedules.
• Stage and organize freight properly for outbound shipments.
• Inspect both incoming and outgoing items for potential transit damage.
• Keep the work areas and shipping dock clean and fully compliant with safety protocols.
• Communicate directly with drivers, warehouse team members, and supervisors to maintain a steady workflow.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience safely and efficiently operating a sit-down forklift in a professional setting.
• Physical capability to handle, load, and transport heavy pallets, boxes, and materials on a regular basis.
• Commitment to wearing the required uniform, which includes all-black attire (black shirt and pants) and closed-toe shoes.
• Clear and effective communication skills to coordinate successfully with fellow team members and drivers.
• Previous background working on a shipping or receiving dock within a logistics environment is highly preferred.
• Prior experience verifying shipment quantities and identifying damaged freight is a strong plus.
• Holding an active or applicable forklift operator certification or license is advantageous.
