Spotwork, a marketplace connecting workers to jobs, is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager in Gastonia, NC, to lead daily operations within a fast-paced distribution facility. In this role, you will take charge of the daily workflow, driving efficiency across receiving, shipping, and order fulfillment while fostering a safe and collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and organize daily warehouse workflow, ensuring optimal performance across all distribution activities.
• Lead and support a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance to maintain high operational accuracy.
• Manage inventory control processes and track the precise movement of goods throughout the facility.
• Direct receiving and shipping operations to guarantee timely order fulfillment and distribution.
• Promote and enforce facility safety protocols to maintain a secure, collaborative workspace for all team members.

Requirements

• Three or more years of supervisory or managerial experience within a distribution, logistics, or warehouse setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in shipping and receiving workflows, inventory control, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, as well as stand, walk, and operate facility equipment throughout your scheduled hours.
• An active forklift operator certification or prior experience handling facility equipment is highly preferred.
• Background in third-party logistics (3PL) or transportation management is a strong plus.
• A degree or formal training in business administration, supply chain management, or logistics is advantageous.
