We are seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Warehouse Associate — Lead to oversee daily logistics operations at a facility in Kansas City, Missouri. In this hands-on role, you will coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of heavy equipment and palletized goods while guiding a small team to meet quality and safety targets.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, to safely move heavy and oversized industrial components.
• Lead a small warehouse team by example, ensuring all safety protocols and operational goals are met.
• Perform accurate inventory counts and verify incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Train new and existing team members on standard facility processes and equipment operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve daily operational challenges on the warehouse floor.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace to keep the facility running at peak efficiency.

Requirements

• Solid foundation of professional experience working within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution center environment.
• Prior background in a team lead, supervisor, or senior-level warehouse role is highly preferred.
• Comfortable with hands-on work, including the safe operation of material handling equipment and forklifts.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities to effectively guide a small team and resolve operational challenges.
