Spotwork is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our workforce marketplace and take on a critical role in Akron, OH. You will help keep distribution and order fulfillment processes running smoothly by managing inventory, picking and packing orders, and safely operating industrial equipment. Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and systematically verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Pick and pack orders with high accuracy, moving products ranging from small items to full pallets.
• Operate equipment, including electric pickers, pallet jacks, and forklifts, to safely transport inventory.
• Restock items into designated warehouse racks and ensure outgoing freight is accurately labeled.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts and proactively report stock discrepancies or safety hazards.

Requirements

• Proven physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy boxes, load products, and continuously move freight.
• Capacity to safely operate machinery like forklifts, electric pickers, and pallet jacks; prior certification or experience is a strong plus.
• Sharp attention to detail for handling warehouse paperwork, labeling, and verifying shipment quantities.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, including wearing mandatory personal protective equipment and maintaining an organized floor.
• Flexibility to work overtime hours to support critical outgoing shipments when necessary.
• Previous background in logistics, distribution, or inventory management is highly preferred.
