Spotwork is a workforce marketplace connecting workers to jobs. We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to support daily operations in Kinston, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials while helping maintain an efficient environment. You will work closely with warehouse leadership and team members to meet operational and customer service goals.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, checking pallets against packing lists and noting any damages.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for outgoing shipment.
• Assist with regular cycle counts and support initiatives to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow established product handling procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Report discrepancies to leadership and strictly follow OSHA safety requirements and company policies.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• At least one year of hands-on experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds continuously throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer proficiency, with a preference for candidates experienced in using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well independently or collaboratively with a team.
