In this dual-focused role, you will play a critical part in the supply chain by unloading incoming freight and carefully preparing outgoing shipments. Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery trucks, shipping containers, and freight pallets by hand or utilizing manual pallet jacks.
• Locate and retrieve specific inventory items to fulfill daily shipping orders with speed and high accuracy.
• Inspect outgoing packages for quality assurance and securely pack items to prevent damage during transit.
• Utilize handheld RF scanners to track warehouse inventory and ensure all items are logged correctly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in collaboration with the logistics team.

Requirements

• Physical capability to consistently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds throughout your scheduled hours.
• Stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach continuously during an 8-hour workday.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately read and verify order sheets and shipping labels.
• Dependable transportation to commute to the Detroit job site.
• Previous background in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is highly preferred.
• Experience operating manual or electric pallet jacks, along with familiarity using RF scanners or basic inventory tracking systems, is a strong plus.
