Spotwork is a marketplace connecting workers to jobs, and we are looking for a reliable Forklift Operator to join our network in GILLEM ENCLAVE, Georgia. In this role, you will safely operate sit-down and reach forklifts to keep a fast-paced distribution center moving efficiently. You will play a crucial part in the supply chain by ensuring materials are safely transported, tracked, and stored correctly.

Responsibilities

• Safely maneuver sit-down and reach forklifts to move inventory throughout the distribution center.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound delivery trailers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Transport, securely stack, and organize materials in their designated warehouse locations.
• Update tracking systems and complete necessary documentation for all inventory movements.
• Perform daily pre-start inspections on your equipment and immediately report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Support overall facility operations by maintaining a hazard-free work area and assisting with general warehouse tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating both sit-down and reach forklifts in an industrial, warehouse, or logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of OSHA guidelines, safe operating procedures, and general warehouse safety protocols.
• Ability to accurately track inventory and confidently use warehouse management systems or paperwork.
• Dependability to commit to a Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule.
• Physical ability to perform warehouse duties, which may include lifting, bending, and maintaining a clean work environment.
