We are seeking a reliable and skilled Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join a busy building materials and lumber yard operation in Texarkana. In this role, you will play a critical part in keeping the yard and warehouse running smoothly by safely moving, stacking, and staging heavy building supplies, lumber, and hardware. A typical day is active and fast-paced. You will operate a sit-down forklift to unload incoming freight, organize inventory across outdoor yards and indoor storage areas, and stage loads for outgoing deliveries. When you are not operating the forklift, you will assist with manual material handling, help load customer vehicles, and ensure the yard remains clean, organized, and safe. What you'll bring

• At least 1 year of experience safely operating a sit-down forklift in an industrial, warehouse, or yard environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual material handling tasks alongside equipment operation.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
• Strong commitment to safety guidelines, pre-operation equipment inspections, and yard organization.

Nice to have

• Prior experience handling lumber, brick, roofing, or heavy building materials.
• Experience loading customer vehicles and providing friendly, basic customer service.
