Spotwork is seeking a skilled and safety-minded Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join an industrial manufacturing and distribution operation in Lubbock, Texas. In this role, you will ensure the smooth flow of heavy machinery parts, raw materials, and finished goods through a busy, fast-paced facility. Responsibilities

• Operate a standard sit-down forklift to safely transport large, heavy, and bulky industrial components.
• Load and unload materials from flatbed trucks and trailers.
• Stage raw materials for production lines and properly organize warehouse storage areas.
• Fulfill daily orders and verify inventory counts using RF scanners or digital tracking systems.
• Collaborate closely with shipping, receiving, and production teams to ensure smooth facility operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace at all times.

Requirements

• At least one year of verifiable experience driving a sit-down forklift within a manufacturing, heavy industrial, or warehouse setting.
• Physical capability to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, as well as sit or stand for extended periods during work hours.
• Exceptional attention to detail with an unwavering commitment to maintaining a safe and hazard-free workspace.
• Previous experience handling oversized loads, heavy machinery parts, or agricultural equipment is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with loading and unloading flatbed trucks, securing industrial loads, and using RF scanners or digital inventory systems is a strong plus.
