We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in East St. Louis. In this role, you will play a key part in our daily logistics operations, ensuring that inventory, pallets, and products are moved, stacked, and organized efficiently throughout our fast-paced facility. A typical day will involve safely operating a sit-down forklift to load and unload incoming and outgoing freight from trailers, staging products for shipment, and organizing inventory in the warehouse. You will also perform pre-shift equipment inspections, maintain a clean and orderly workspace, and collaborate closely with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving goals. What you'll bring

  • Minimum of 6 months of recent experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or distribution setting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed throughout the shift.
  • Valid forklift operator certification or the ability to successfully pass a site-specific safety and operation test.

Nice to have

  • Experience operating clamp attachments or other specialized material handling equipment.
  • Familiarity with RF scanners and basic warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking.
  • Previous experience working in a high-volume third-party logistics (3PL) environment.
