Spotwork is seeking a skilled and safety-minded Forklift Operator to join a logistics and warehousing team in Darlington, South Carolina. In this role, you will play a key part in keeping warehouse operations running smoothly by safely and efficiently moving, staging, and organizing materials. This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your attention to detail and dedication to safety will directly impact daily success.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts to load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.
• Transport pallets to designated storage areas safely and efficiently.
• Prepare customer orders for shipment with high accuracy.
• Utilize handheld RF scanners to track inventory and manage materials.
• Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure safe forklift operation.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members to maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.

Requirements

• At least 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience operating clamp forklifts within a distribution or warehouse setting.
• Demonstrated ability to use handheld RF scanners effectively for order picking and tracking inventory.
• Physical capability to regularly lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds, as well as stand or walk for the entire duration of your scheduled hours.
• Strict adherence to warehouse safety guidelines, which includes wearing steel-toed boots and all other necessary personal protective equipment.
• Prior background working in a high-volume, third-party logistics (3PL) facility is considered a strong advantage.
