Spotwork is a workforce marketplace connecting workers to exciting jobs in Houston, TX, and we are currently looking for high-energy Concession Team Members. Earning $18 per hour, you will deliver excellent guest service, prepare quick-service food and beverages, and operate point-of-sale systems during weekday evening events from 5 PM to 12 AM. Responsibilities

• Set up food display stations and maintain accurate inventory throughout your scheduled hours.
• Prepare and serve quick-service food items, as well as mix or dispense beverages for guests.
• Operate point-of-sale registers to ensure fast, friendly, and accurate transactions in high-volume settings.
• Assist attendees with menu inquiries and consistently provide top-notch customer service.
• Keep work and service areas clean, compliant with food safety standards, and continuously restocked with condiments and supplies.

Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and handle active food service duties for the duration of your schedule.
• Solid foundational math and cash or card handling skills for seamless point-of-sale operations.
• Excellent communication skills and a highly customer-focused attitude, even in loud or busy environments.
• Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or concession stands is highly preferred.
• Possessing a valid local food handler card or alcohol service certification is a great advantage.
