Spotwork is connecting reliable individuals to an Assembly and Production – Packaging Line Worker opportunity in Guelph, ON. In this role, you will be part of an innovative agricultural production team, handling everything from harvesting to packaging and sanitation. Responsibilities

• Execute general production duties, including seeding, harvesting, and packaging crops.
• Accurately verify products against sales orders, package them efficiently, and ensure correct labeling and safe storage.
• Operate and set up production and packaging equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform comprehensive sanitation tasks, such as scrubbing, vacuuming, disinfecting, and managing waste disposal.
• Adhere strictly to Food Safety Policies, Standard Operation Procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Inspect packaging materials, assist with inventory counts, and support shipping and receiving activities.

Requirements

• Ability to follow strict food safety guidelines, including the mandatory removal of all jewelry before entering the production area.
• Compliance with facility dress code requirements: long pants are mandatory, and hoodies are strictly prohibited.
• Capability to handle active, physical tasks such as operating equipment, cleaning drains, and sanitizing workspaces.
• Strong attention to detail to verify orders, monitor product quality, and proactively identify any sanitation issues.
• Willingness to learn and rotate between various production and cleaning areas as guided by leadership.
