Our client is looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join their growing team in the home delivery and logistics industry. The ideal candidates are motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, helping ensure efficient deliveries and careful handling of furniture and other large items. Responsibilities include unloading and receiving inbound furniture orders, manually moving heavy goods, documenting inventory details using warehouse management and scanning technology, monitoring orders for shortages or damages, performing cycle counts, picking orders, and staging deliveries by truck and stop number. Team members are expected to work effectively with colleagues and managers, maintain accurate inventory records, identify efficient ways to complete tasks, and contribute ideas for process improvements. Candidates must be comfortable repeatedly lifting up to 75 lbs independently and moving items weighing over 150 lbs independently or with a team lift. The role requires working on the warehouse floor for eight hours or more per day, a strong and consistent work ethic, the ability to read and understand English for workplace safety, and safety footwear. Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience is an asset, as are forklift certification and other relevant equipment operator certifications.
