Overview: Run the bar at private and corporate events in a downtown Toronto event venue. You’ll serve cocktails, beer and wine to large groups in a fast-paced setting.
A downtown Toronto event space is looking for a bartender to support their event services. This job involves preparing drinks, maintaining a clean bar area, and providing friendly service to guests during private functions. A typical day includes setting up the bar, mixing beverages, and ensuring the service area remains organized throughout the event. This job suits a candidate who is energetic, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced social environment.
Requirements
- Valid Smart Serve certification
- Health & Safety Quiz completed
- Previous bartending experience
- Bring a bottle opener with corkscrew (required), plus a pen and small notepad
- Uniform: white pressed dress shirt, black pressed dress pants, polished black shoes. The Company supplies a bow tie, which is returned at the end of the event.
- Comfortable standing for the full job
- Flexible end time. Be prepared to stay late if needed.
