Overview: Serve guests at events in a downtown Toronto venue. Events include seated multi-course dinners, cocktail receptions with passed canapés, and large events like weddings.
We are looking for a Banquet Server to assist with events and private functions. A typical day involves setting up tables, serving food and drinks to guests, and clearing dishes to keep the space tidy. This role suits a friendly person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent service. You will work as part of a team to ensure every event runs smoothly.
Requirements
- Valid Smart Serve certification
- Criminal background check
- Bring a wine key, pen and small notepad (required)
- Uniform: white pressed dress shirt, black pressed dress pants, polished solid black shoes. The Company supplies suspenders, which are returned at the end of the event.
- Comfortable standing and walking for the full job
- Comfortable with moderate noise levels
