We are currently seeking a meticulous and skilled Test Developer to join our internal engineering team in Toronto, ON. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform by building and maintaining automated testing frameworks. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for Spotwork’s web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to integrate automated testing seamlessly into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Write, execute, and scale test scripts for backend APIs, user interfaces, and core platform features.
• Conduct thorough functional, regression, and performance testing prior to major marketplace releases.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with the development team to ensure prompt resolution.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience as a Test Developer, Software Developer in Test (SDET), or similar automation role.
• Proficiency in coding languages commonly used for test automation, such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with modern testing tools and frameworks.
• Solid understanding of continuous integration processes, version control, and API testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
